1. Agreement
By accessing or using peptideliteracylab.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. The service
Peptide Literacy Lab is an educational initiative of The Precision Firm LLC. The free website teaches a method for interpreting peptide terminology, regulatory categories, research, and public claims. It includes a learning-path quiz, self-paced class, knowledge checks, browser-based workbook, and education library. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features as the project develops.
3. Educational information only
Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified licensed professional who knows your history. We do not provide dosing, stacking, sourcing, reconstitution, storage, injection instructions, or personalized recommendations.
Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something on this site. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services. Use the material to prepare questions, not to make treatment decisions on your own. Using the site does not create a clinician-patient, pharmacist-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
4. Eligibility
The site is intended for adults. You must be at least 16 to use it. If the law where you live requires a higher age or parental permission, that rule applies.
5. Public use and QA accounts
No account is required for the public learning tools. Course progress and workbook entries are stored in your browser, so you are responsible for your device, backups, and any loss caused by clearing browser data. Keep sensitive health and identifying details out of the workbook.
Private QA access is limited to approved reviewers. Reviewers must use an address they are authorized to control, protect their email account and session, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend or revoke QA access at any time.
The Peptide Evidence Brief is optional and requires confirmation of the submitted email address. Every subscription email includes a way to unsubscribe. We may stop an email series or suppress an address after an unsubscribe, complaint, or hard bounce. Unsubscribing does not limit access to the public learning tools.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the site to violate law or another person’s rights.
- Attempt to bypass security, access controls, rate limits, or private QA areas.
- Introduce malware, interfere with operation, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, or misuse the site to harm others.
- Scrape or automate access in a way that burdens the service or ignores technical restrictions.
- Copy, republish, sell, or create a competing product from substantial portions of our original course, workbook, quiz, design, or code without permission.
- Present the material as personalized medical advice or use it for a high-risk automated decision about another person.
7. Intellectual property and personal notes
We and our licensors own the site’s name, branding, design, code, original writing, class structure, quiz, workbook prompts, and other protected material. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the public site and print or save your completed workbook for personal educational use.
You retain ownership of text you enter in the workbook. It remains in your browser and is not submitted to us. You are responsible for what you enter and for having the right to use it.
8. Sources and third-party services
The education library links to regulators, research databases, and other third-party sources. Links are provided for context, not as an endorsement. Third-party content can change, and its own terms and policies apply. Vercel hosts the site, Clerk handles approved-reviewer login, Elastic Email delivers requested email, and Google Analytics measures public pages only after consent.
9. Accuracy and editorial limits
We aim to use current primary sources and explain uncertainty plainly, but science, regulation, product status, and source pages change. The site may contain mistakes, omissions, or outdated material. Verify important information against current official records and discuss personal decisions with an appropriately licensed professional.
To report an error, email hello@peptideliteracylab.com with “Correction request” in the subject line and include the page, statement, and supporting source.
10. Availability and termination
The free service is provided on a best-effort basis without a service level commitment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent feature availability, or preservation of browser data. We may restrict access for conduct that violates these terms or threatens the site, users, or others.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that any information will be complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peptide Literacy Lab and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for claims relating to the free service will not exceed US $100.
These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other matters where applicable law requires otherwise. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Peptide Literacy Lab and its operators from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any consumer rights that cannot be waived, disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Sheridan County, Wyoming. Nothing here removes mandatory protections you have under the law where you live.
15. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law—will survive.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, a prominent notice. Your continued use after revised terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
